Longview Walking School Bus Workshop @ Cowlitz County Health & Human Services | Longview | Washington | United States

Learn how to help encourage and support successful systems for walking to school at this FREE workshop from the National Partnership’s Walking School Bus expert Kate Moening.

Communities across the nation are implementing Safe Routes to School (SRTS) programs. SRTS programs improve safety conditions and increase the number of students walking to and from school.

A Walking School Bus program can help reduce air pollution, improve attendance, increase the number of students walking and bicycling, and give children and adults an opportunity to get some exercise and socialize, all while getting to school on time!

Join school partners from across Southwest Washington for an all-inclusive workshop on how to start a Walking School Bus at your school.

Registration opens at 8:30am. Workshop from 9am-12pm. Light snacks and refreshments provided. Translation services available upon request.
