Approximately 20 people attended a walking audit conducted Feet First for the White Center Heights Elementary as a part of the King County Food and Fitness program.
The audit complemented the audit conducted by the Neighborhood House’s “Greenbridge Community Action Team – Be Active Together” action plan. They have already had four victories from their plan.
The walking audit divided into two groups. Each group walked approximately one mile with a facilitated discussion by Feet First. The one hour tour along a walking route will allow community members to document the issues and opportunities around creating a walkable and safe neighborhood.
