We offer a variety of community engagement tools to get your students, employees and neighbors on their feet.

Mapping
We develop neighborhood walking maps designed to increase foot traffic in business districts, build understanding of walking and transit routes, bolster neighborhood identity, and raise awareness of vital community resources. Take a look at our popular Neighborhoods on Foot walking maps.

"At first, the audit seemed like it would be overwhelming, because we have so many street safety issues here on the reservation. However, the walking audit helped us to clarify tangible areas that we can make an impact, both big and small."

-   Lummi Tribe Walking Audit Participant

Walking Audit
We provide unique assessments called 'walking audits' that lay an important foundation for pedestrian-savvy project planning. The walking audit includes organizing and promoting a walk for stakeholders, moderating discussions during the walk, highlighting danger zones and gathering participant feedback. Findings are summarized in a report. For examples, please visit our Resources page.
Cost: $3,000

Safe Routes to School
Making our communities safe and convenient for walking is especially important for the health and well-being of our children. We offer a variety of services that help Safe Routes to School initiatives succeed. Find out more about how we can help parents, teachers and administrators in developing an effective Safe Routes to School program. Price dependent upon project scope.
